Absolutely amazing!!!!! Christine, Mike and their team went above and beyond to make our day the best it could be. There were so many little touches that made everything so pleasant for our guests. Christine was there to help every step of the way and think of all the extra things we hadn't thought of. All the extra behind-the-scenes work and effort they put in, made the day go so smoothly. We had so many guests say how they enjoyed spending the afternoon on the deck and how lovely it is to have a venue where you can spread out and really make it your own. Mackay's newest venue is a must see and one I would highly recommend! A huge thank you again to Christine and Mike.

As a marriage celebrant in Mackay, I have had the privilege of officiating ceremonies at various indoor and outdoor venues throughout our region and today I had the pleasure of conducting a ceremony in the chapel at Villa Lamor!

This location has it all, wedding venue, reception venue and accommodation.  The team have clearly gone above and beyond to think of everything and ensure that every detail is perfect.

I love that I arrived to find my couple so relaxed and feeling at home prior to the ceremony and it was wonderful to see the guests arrive and also make themselves at home on the deck, enjoying their beautiful surroundings and a cool breeze before the ceremony. 

The chapel was delightful and set up perfectly for a ceremony of any kind, from weddings, naming days, renewal of vows and anything else you wanted to celebrate.

I will definitely be recommending this venue to family, friends and clients to consider for their events.  I’m even looking forward to hiring it for something myself.

Our daughter was recently married in Mackay and had her wedding reception at Villa Lamor. We can't say enough about this new and wonderful event location. Christine, Mick and the staff were absolutely tremendous. Everyone who attended the reception said they had a fantastic time. We all thought the large deck area overlooking the lake was a great introduction to the place. The reception room was beautifully prepared and perfectly arranged and, along with everything else, just showed how professional the management team were. Christine made herself available the entire time and had all possible contingencies covered, down to tissues for the bride's father! Anything that was needed, Christine and her wonderful staff mad sure it happened. The entire day just ran perfectly and left us all feeling very special at night's end. If you're looking for a place that has somewhere to get married, somewhere to have a reception, and somewhere to stay, this is the place. Staff are excellent and the grounds are very picturesque. Plenty of spots to get that perfect photo and both the chapel and hall are air-conditioned (great for those summer events). Give this place a call you won't regret it

I was a guest at a wedding at Villa Lamor and didn't know what to expect. The venue was amazing and was the one stop shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful and did what they could to help. The grounds are very picturesque and would be perfect for any function with accommodation onsite, a chapel and a reception hall. Everything is in walking distance so once we arrived, we didn't have to leave until the end of the wedding.
